Hand-Painted Boomerangs: Questions and Answers

Do hand-painted boomerangs really come back?

Yes. They are real returning boomerangs with a traditional shape, and we test-throw each one before it ships. Throw it almost upright, about 45° to the right of the wind, with a lot of spin. Our throwing guide shows the steps.

Is the art really painted by hand?

Yes. Professional artists paint each design by hand. It is not a print or a sticker.

Are they good for beginners?

They are larger than our beginner models and fly further, up to about 30 m (90–100 ft). For a first boomerang, a light beginner model is easier to learn with. See our beginner boomerangs.

How much space do I need?

Choose a large open area, such as a football field or an open park, with at least 50–100 m of open space on all sides. Never throw near trees, roads or people.

Can I add a name or a date?

Yes. On the product page, choose “Yes” under “Would you like to personalize this boomerang?” and write your name, date or message. We email you a digital proof before we engrave it.

What age are they for?

Boomerangs are sports equipment, not toys. We recommend them for teens 14+ and adults. Any minor must throw under adult supervision.
